Mr. Pearce? Jacks has wandered off. I'm very worried. I was going to call the police, but I wanted to call you first.
―Yolanda to Aiden

Yolanda Mendez is a supporting character in Watch Dogs. She is a renowned child psychologist and the one treating Jackson Pearce for his PTSD as a result of Lena's death.

Biography[]

Events of Watch Dogs[]

After the mission Hold On, Kiddo, Aiden tells her to take care of Jackson due to Nicky's abduction by Damien Brenks. When Yolanda asks where Nicky is, Aiden lies, telling her that Nicky is forcing herself to get rid of Lena's things. Later on, Yolanda tells Aiden that Jackson is getting restless and that he's not happy. Aiden tells her to call him if he runs off. At the start of the mission Role Model, Yolanda tells Aiden that Jackson has wandered off. Aiden realizes that he went looking for Nicky and remarks that Jackson is a lot like him. After saving Jackson, Aiden drops him off at Yolanda's house, and she threatens to call the police if they she doesn't hear from Nicky. Then, after Aiden saves Nicky and picks her up, Nicky remarks that Yolanda called the police. After escaping, Nicky and Jackson leave Chicago.

Post-Watch Dogs[]

During the credits of Watch Dogs, Mendez appears in a WKZ TV interview to discuss her personal interactions with the Vigilante (while being careful to omit her fiduciary counseling of his nephew), and a book that she is writing about him. In Watch Dogs: Bad Blood, she doesn't physically appear, however in the side mission Fox Hunt, it is revealed that the Rosario Brothers went to search her house to find any clues leading to the disappearance of Aiden Pearce from Chicago. Humorously, a Boxberg can be seen in Mendez's driveway, which she presumably purchased with her book advance. Raymond Kenney went to the neighborhood when a Rosario Brother was lurking around the home and quickly dispatched him. He stated that she doesn't deserve what's happening and that he wants her to get her book of the Vigilante published.
