Windrush Square is a location in Watch Dogs: Legion.
Background[]
Windrush Square is a public space in the heart of Brixton, Borough of Lambeth, originally known as the Brixton Oval and then the Windrush Square. Since Brexit, it's been at the heart of numerous protests, with the wide open space on front of the Tate Central Free Public Library ideal for protests. Unfortunately, under martial law, Albion has regularly raided this space, using undercover provocateurs to infiltrate the crowd and then execute a kettle, trapping protesters in to carry out arrests and repressions. However, protests continue unabated.[1]
Layout[]
This is a large open space in southern Lambeth, and a common protest site. The sole text file is located by the garbage bins in front of the Tate library.

| Things to remember, When you first join the crowd, that is the moment when you are most vulnerable to discovery. You are a newcomer and subject to suspicion. You will draw attention merely by being new in the crowd. It is crucial that in the first few moments you do nothing to raise suspicion any further. - Look unsure - Change direction as if lost - Appear impressed even entertained The most important thing to keep in mind is that you are playing a role. You are not Albion or even undercover Albion. You are a disaffected protester. You dislike authority and you’re angry at the restrictions and threat we pose. Play the part. You will know when its time to drop the pretence and return to who you really are. You will hear the whistles when we are about to begin the kettleing. At that moment you are free to retrieve your truncheons and exert any force you feel necessary to subdue anyone not cooperating. Good luck and watch yourselves. |
