Trouble on the Horizon is a side mission in Watch Dogs: Legion, and is only accessible by purchasing the game's season pass. It is the second mission in the Guardian Protocol series of missions, directly after Cover Story.

Plot[]

Barbican Centre[]

Previously, DedSec discovered the identity of an Albion whistleblower’s killer: Sean Holland, who is revealed to have a residence at the Barbican Centre. An operative travels to the location, which is laden with Albion guards. By hacking a CTOS hub, the operative gains access to a camera network inside Holland's flat, showing two small, messy, interconnected rooms, with a laptop placed on a chair, which the operative hacks. They manage to come across an email on Holland’s laptop. After the operative leaves the area, Bagley explains to the operative some of the data he analysed on the laptop. He discovered that Sean Holland has a job at Horizon Multinational, a tech think-tank that recently signed a contract with Albion to continue development on Guardian Protocol. The operative travels to Horizon Multinational to search for evidence of the Guardian Protocol.

Horizon Multinational[]

At the location, whilst looking for a database for the protocol, they discover that it is blocked off by large metal shutter. In order to unlock it, the operative must overcharge the door’s locks to unlock it. After creating a power surge and entering the locked room, the operative accesses a computer, allowing Bagley to upload and delete the drone AI for the Guardian Protocol. The operative must survive an Albion attack until the download is complete, and then must escape the area and survive Albion reinforcements. After getting to safety, Bagley claims that he inserted some code into the database while downloading the data, which will cause the drones to perform strangely after the drones’ next update. The operative also instructs Bagley to send the collected data to the journalist so he can finish his story and spread the word.

Email: Plug the Leak[]

Unlocked by hacking the laptop in Sean Holland's flat at the Barbican Centre.

Sean Holland
Plug the Leak
Listen, Sean. I've already assured we (you!) would take care of our end if they handled that muck-raking journalist. So, don't you dare get sentimental on us now.

Paul deserves what's coming for him for leaking all that data in the first place. He's putting everything at risk. The company. The project. Us. He must be dealt with immediately. Paul's mistake doesn't have to ruin anything.

Get it done and your little problem doesn't go public. We'll get your supply and keep you in top quality product. Understand?
