The Hot Isle is a location deep inside the San Francisco CTOS Headquarters. It is a small room where the computer hardware that controls the building is stored and connected. It appears in the first mission of the game, Hello World. In a cutscene, Marcus opens the vent cover above it, then drops a glowstick down it to test its depth. He shimmies down, then attaches a device to one of the servers inside the room. He then waits a moment and climbs out, exhausted and sweaty. The room is quoted to be over 120 degrees.
