Stockwell War Bunker is a location in Watch Dogs: Legion.
Background[]
Stockwell War Bunker dates back to 1941, when ten deep-level shelters were commissioned to provide a superior level of protection from the Nazi bombings. Eight were completed, designed to provide Londoners with overnight protection in case of further strategic bombings, though Stockwell is distinct in that it was primarily used by the British government after its completion in September 1942. It was opened to the public in 1944, when the fascist menace was put on the defensive, and shuttered after the war. Considered an eyesore in the following decades, it was finally converted into a peace memorial, joining the nearby Stockwell War Memorial erected in 1922 to memorialize 574 men from Stockwell who perished in the First World War.
Under Albion, it is a public space used to host protests against the oppressive PMC. What few know is that the bunker has been used as a base of operations by the Zero Day terrorist group, which engineered Albion's takeover with active assistance from both the company and Clan Kelley: A shelter from fascists became a home for them.
Layout[]
The area surrounding the bunker is a public park, with protests regularly occurring in front of the supposedly shuttered bunker. The older war memorial is not accessible.
Interior[]
The interior of the bunker is accessed during The Face of the Enemy, when DedSec finally locates Zero Day's headquarters.
