One Foot in the Grave is the thirteenth storyline mission in Watch Dogs, and the 4th mission of Act II.
Plot[]
After the motel room fire, Clara calls Aiden and says that they can meet in the Hobotown. After Aiden comes, Clara tells him about the Bunker, and the urban legends about it. After Aiden hacks into a nearby camera, he learns a man named Tobias Frewer has access to the Bunker's rumored location. After Aiden tells her about Tobias, Clara says he is crazy and won't talk to Aiden. Clara leads Aiden to Tobias' underground shop and find that he isn't there. Aiden then decides to snoop around, and after listening in on a likely candidate, discovers Tobias is playing an illegal game of poker in Parker Square.
Aiden soon realizes he wasn't the only one searching for Tobias, as two fixers in a van brag about having a lock on Frewer after tracing the same call. After giving chase and ending their plans, Aiden buys into Tobias' poker game. After asking Tobias his name, and asking about his termination from Blume, Tobias flips the table, and Aiden gives chase after Tobias tries to make a getaway. Once Aiden greets him with a tactical baton and convinces Tobias he isn't a threat, he asks for the key to Abbot Island. After handing him the key and warning him of the consequences involved, Tobias offers Aiden access to his underground shop, and the mission ends.
Mission objectives[]
- Search for bridge access.
- Follow Clara.
- Profile the homeless for clues.
- Hack the caller.
- Kill the fixer before he reaches Tobias.
- Kill the fixer's backup or escape.
- Reach the poker game.
- Join the game and draw out Tobias.
- Catch Tobias. Do not kill him.
Trivia[]
- The homeless man whose call must be hacked can be profiled, identifying him as John Kyle, a flyer distributor who suffers from dementia. It also states that his phone is jailbroken, which was most likely Tobias' doing.
- Profiling Clara reveals that her visa is a expired, which means she was living in the United States illegally.
- Profiling Tobias reveals he has a lapsed prescription for SSRI, a drug used to treat depression, stress, anxiety and panic disorder.
- If Aiden has less than $200, the game will ask the player to get more money before proceeding with the poker game.
