Nine Elms Walkway is a location in Watch Dogs: Legion.

Background[]

Nine Elms Walkway is a new crossing over the Thames River, connecting Pimlico and Nine Elms, which is currently under intense construction. As a major new construction effort, the entire area is under Albion protection, though it is spotty, allowing thieves to case entire floors.[1] It's also used by Albion for practice dives in the Thames, which sometimes leads to disconcerting discoveries - like the former chief of security at the TOAN Conference, naked with a cinder block tied to his ankle at the bottom of the river, likely disposed on orders from Cass himself.[2]

Like with other Albion-controlled sites, this one also includes an extra feature: A boarded-up room where Cass has abductees tortured in an improvised electric chair, with bodies wrapped and dumped into the Thames once they expire or are killed.[3]

Layout[]

The Walkway connects the two sides of Thames. While security barriers are at both ends of the walkway, the restricted zone is in the actual construction zone, spread across three floors down to the surface of the river. One of the text files is immediately below the walkway, on a concrete block. On the same level, but northern side is the sealed room. An adjacent gas container can be blown up to gain access to Cass' pleasure chamber and a bundle of tech points. The other text file is at the very bottom, south side, next to the portable toilets.

Nine Elms Walkway #1

Day 24
Got tidy lot last night. Don’t reckon it was petty cash or anything but some bloke had 40 pounds in his desk. I’m well through the 2nd floor now. I reckon I will have to move up to the 3rd but I think the security up there is tougher. I’ll have to move more carefully at first. No risk no reward right? Might be better loot where it’s more secure. Security is pretty shit though. Easy enough for me to slip in unnoticed.

Nine Elms Walkway #2

Hey mate,
I’m fucking scared. We were doing a routine practice dive yesterday and we came across some bloke naked, with a block tied to his ankle dead on the bottom. Had been there for some time I’d say, pretty disfigured. But mate I’m sure I recognised him. It was Martin, man. Martin, the admin who was in charge of physical security at TOAN. Yeah. Remember how pissed Cass was after all that? Just saying.
