Background

The largest multi-corporate facility in Nine Elms, Nine Elms Docks are a hub of Albion logistics, one of the bases of the Thames River Police, and home of Horizon Multinational's drone arsenal together with an AI hub that controls them and an experimental Broca Tech AI called Arthur, patterned by Skye Larsen off a RAF pilot.

As a significant number of drones operates out of this facility, with control barges moored at the docks, incidents do happen. One of these included an Albion developer trying to respect people's privacy and setting the drones to automatically blur the faces of anyone in a private residence. Nigel Cass personally intervened to ensure total surveillance, calling the developer's limitations "personal squeamishness" and the developer himself a "wanker".

Layout

Nine Elms Docks is accessible by both land and water. Water access is a little easier, as it grants immediate access to the hall and the collectibles, while land access requires going down the employee stairwell and security scanners or the parking lot access gate. The docks are a cramped area with lots and lots of Albion operatives and a high risk of getting shot down due to a lack of cover. However, it is much more forgiving of spiderbots.

The collectibles are all in the dock. The situation room (requires a system key, typically up on the catwalk) contains both the sole text file and the borough sabotage opportunity (hinting at a black site, blacker than what Albion usually does, hidden beneath Battersea). The tech point bundle is on the vent by the eastern garage, while the relic is in an enclosed space accessible through a vent. The vent is on the yellow corrugated metal building to the northeast, near the Albion barge, just by the red emergency hose.

John, I toured the facility yesterday. Your men are doing good work. I was concerned about the limitations placed on the drones. (This coming from the lead developer I spoke to - can’t remember his name). He said he’s been instructed to make sure that the system automatically blurs the faces of individuals caught through windows of private residences. He said something to the effect that within their own homes people are allowed to be free from scrutiny and identification. I think you already know I have a problem with this. We’re not publishing the fucking footage on the GBB. This is a security issue that takes precedent over personal squeamishness. Get in there and straighten this wanker out. Make sure he understands the consequences of discussing internal policies with anyone that does not have clearance from myself or senior staff. NC
