The currency in Watch Dogs and Watch Dogs 2 is the United States dollar, which is abbreviated as USD.

It is not known if there is any limit to how much money the player can have.

Earning Money[]

Money can be acquired through a variety of methods.

Watch Dogs[]

  • Gambling on the slot machines, Chess and number of other minigames
  • Hacking bank details and withdrawing the funds from ATM machines
  • Looting from stolen cars and selling the gains to a pawn shop
  • Threatening and robbing stores

Watch Dogs 2[]

  • Locating bags of money around the bay area, some of which are hidden and some of which are located in gang territory
  • Looting gloveboxes and bags from vehicles and selling them to a pawn shop
  • Delivering Driver SF clients to their requested locations
  • Opening armored trucks and stealing the bag inside
  • Hacking people's bank accounts

Watch Dogs: Legion[]

In Watch Dogs: Legion, Money is replaced with ETO, a cryptocurrency. However, its function is the same.
