Lambeth Palace is a location in Watch Dogs: Legion.
Background[]
Lambeth Palace is the official residence of the Archbishop of Canterbury in north Lambeth, originally acquired by the archdiocese for the archbishops at the beginning of the 13th century. Ravaged by various historic events, in particular the English Civil War that left the Great Hall completely ransacked, it was rebuilt and restored, and ultimately became one of the most valued landmarks in London.
Although it was modernized with the latest in security technologies, especially after the Albion takeover, they are relatively subtle - the most striking of these is a holographic projection of a northern extension of the Palace into the Gardens. The Bishop does still reside at the Palace, though Albion has turned it into a fortress and outlying buildings are used for less-than-marketable meetings.[1]
Layout[]
A fairly faithful reproduction of the real-life Lambeth Palace, the location has a roughly rectangular layout, with little space to maneuver, but a lot of verticality. The northwestern turret contains a relic (Londres Radio Microphone), accessible by cargo drone (jump down near the chimney with a Spiderbot), while the central courtyard with the gazebo contains the location's sole text file. The cottages to the southeast contain the tech point bundle - it is located inside the ventilation ducts, accessible through the Spiderbot gates at the northwestern tip of the cottages.

| FROM: Bishop Harkins To: A. Blanston SUBJECT: Obscenity Dear Ann, Thank you so much for your letter. I am very pleased to hear of your longtime patronage of the cathedral. You are certainly very invested in its well-being. As for your specific concerns. I’m afraid I have little to do with those specific administrative activities. In an institution this large, as I’m sure you can appreciate, the demands of these areas are far too onerous for me to take on in addition to my ordinary duties. We have a staff that looks after these matters and I have forwarded your concern to them. For my part, I can say that the obscene behaviour of the so-called "living statue of the entrance line" has been reported to us in the past. While I have never experienced it first hand, the particular hip gyrations you describe do sound particularly dangerous. Be sure to mention that you witnessed them in your next confession. It’s unfortunate that some people conduct themselves in this manner, but they too are God’s creatures and we all must love them regardless. Please be assured that we take your concerns seriously. Thank you again for your patronage and devotion to our church. God be with you, Bishop Harkins |
