- ❝ An affordable entry-level SUV.❞
- ―In-game description in Watch Dogs.
The Nakahawa Motors Kigan AWD is a four-door crossover SUV in Watch Dogs and Watch Dogs 2.
Design[]
The Kigan AWD is mainly based on the second generation Mitsubishi Outlander, except the rear quarter side window behind the C-pillar being straightened downwards, similar to the third generation Outlander. The flared wheel arches design were inspired by the Dodge Journey. The rear is mostly taken from the North American fourth generation 2011-2013 Honda Odyssey, with the shape of the taillights being similar to those found on the third generation Subaru Impreza hatchback.
The sides of the car feature a number of geometric formations. At the wheelbase, the body is elevated to complement the flared wheel arches. The car features smooth sides that have no extra formations. The wing mirrors are mounted just behind the base of the A-pillar. The B and C-pillars features black polymer trim. The side windows behind the B-pillar are tinted. The roof features a small centrally-mounted shark fin antenna just in front of the rear spoiler. The vehicle sports five-spoke wheels wrapped in high-profile tires.
The top of the rear windscreen features a small body-colored spoiler. Below the rear windscreen is a horizontal chrome strip that connects the taillight units. Adjacent and centrally below the chrome strip is an impressed trapezium area where license plate is mounted. The taillight units are geometric in shape, with the area on the tailgate being triangular. The rear bumper is fairly complex, protruding around the tailgate. At the base of the bumper, towards the left, a twin-circle exhaust tip can be seen.
Performance[]
The Kigan AWD performs averagely well, although it is not as fast as other SUVs, it has good acceleration, decent durability and a great handling, because of the suspension and its all wheel drive layout (much like its name says), with a torque distribution that is more favored to the front wheels. The Kigan AWD has a single-cam V8 coupled to a 5-speed gearbox.

Variants[]
- CTOS Kigan AWD: A CTOS version appears during the CTOS Control Center missions, in Watch Dogs. Sometimes, these vehicles will appear parked along with the CTOS Landrock Van 2500, or when security guards are dispatching backup (only if the dispatcher(s) is/are alive). The CTOS version has a much higher ride height than the civilian version.
Notable Owners[]
- Aiden Pearce owned a red Kigan AWD, which was totaled by Maurice Vega in the flashbacks of the game events in his original attempt to kill Aiden by shooting one of the front tires of the car, leading it into a roll-over accident, which instead of killing Aiden, it kills Lena Pearce.
Locations[]
Watch Dogs[]
- Can be found driven in The Loop district.
- Many can be found parked in the Mad Mile area.
- Available for free on the Car On Demand app.
- The CTOS variant only spawns inside unoccupied CTOS Control Centers, either parked or when a dispatcher is calling for backup.
Watch Dogs 2[]
- Can be purchased from Total Motors car dealership for $15,000.
Trivia[]
- Like many other vehicles in Watch Dogs and Watch Dogs 2, the Kigan AWD features a horn alarm.
- Like the 3.9T, there is another My Little Pony easter egg in the Kigan AWD. If the player shoots the passenger window and use a sniper rifle to zoom in on the ignition, they will see a keychain of Trixie, wearing an outfit similar to Aiden's vigilante outfit.
