Known colloquially as J town, this neighborhood is the largest and oldest Japantown in the United States. It contains the famed Peace Pagoda as well as many other cultural landmarks.

Japantown is a world location in Watch Dogs 2.

Location[]

Japantown is located on the west side of San Francisco, it is situated to the southwest of The Tenderloin, and north of the Civic Center.

Description[]

Japantown takes up a whole city block, at the center of the block is a large open plaza with many shops and restaurants, in this plaza is the San Francisco Peace Pagoda.

Collectibles[]

  • 3 ScoutX locations. The Kawaii Dancer, Ukiyo-e, and the Peace Pagoda can all be found in the large plaza.

Trivia[]

  • This location is based on the real life Japantown, San Francisco
  • The Peace Pagoda was gifted to San Francisco by the city of Osaka, it represents unity between the two sister cities.
  • The Japanese word, "ukiyo-e", can be translated to "the pictures of the floating world" in English.
