Hardy Church is a location in Watch Dogs: Legion.
Background[]
Hardy Church or rather, the St. Pancras Old Church, is a Church of England place of worship located in Camden, with a long, but unclear history, with some traditions claiming it's one of the oldest churches in England. However, the name "Hardy Church" appears to refer to the Hardy Tree, one of the Great Trees of London growing in the parish garden, surrounded by gravestones moved there while Thomas Hardy was overseeing excavations. In recent decades, with the general UK downturn, the Church has fallen into disrepair, but continues to provide services to those in need via a food bank. Due to the prominence of the cemetery, it's also the gathering spot for an occult society, though its members seem to have failed to account for the moving of burials due to industrial construction.[1]
Layout[]
The church itself is located on the western end of the area, with the Hardy Tree in the east. The skimmer is on top of the church, while the text file sits on the edge of a tombstone.

Behind the scenes[]
- The tree remains standing in Watch Dogs: Legion. Unfortunately, it fell in 2022, two years after the game's release.
