Hamish Bolaji is a supporting character in Watch Dogs: Legion. He exposed Nigel Cass by proving his involvement in the bombings.

Background[]

Born in London, Bolaji receive a technical scholarship from The Cass Foundation at 14, mentored by Nigel Cass directly. Just two years later, at 16, he designed his first drone fleet. Cass deliberately delayed the launch by a week to ensure it happened on Bolaji's birthday.[1] The two had a falling out around 2026, when Bolaji sabotaged a fleet of combat drones set to wipe out a village in the Niger Delta. Bolaji went to the ground a fugitive from Albion, while human rights investigations into the matter were buried.[2]

Around 2029 he re-emerged in London, becoming an essential asset for DedSec's London cell.[3]

  1. ↑ Bagley: "We've found one. His name Hamish Bolaji. Born London, Bolaji was a recipient of The Cass Foundation technical scholarship at 14, which included a mentorship with Cass himself. At sixteen, Bolaji designed Cass' first drone fleet. Fun fact: Cass delayed the launch by a week so it would land on Bolaji's birthday."
  2. ↑ Bagley: "They had a falling out after an incident in the Niger Delta three years ago. A buried human rights investigation accuses Cass of ordering a drone fleet to wipe out a village protesting the construction of a pipeline, but the drones malfunctioned before they could. Bolaji is named as the likely saboteur. He's been on the run ever since, but now tracking data shows he's reappeared in London."
  3. ↑ Bagley: "He covers his tracks well, but that's a good guess. Unfortunately, according to this Albion intelligence report intercepted by our friend Kaitlin Lau, Cass knows Bolaji's in London as well. So that's the op. Make contact with Bolaji before Albion finds him, then convince him we have a mutual enemy in Cass."
