Gareth Cass is a character in Watch Dogs: Legion. He is the father of Nigel Cass.
Biography[]
Gareth Cass was born in London. He joined the army and served for some time, later marrying an unnamed woman. Eventually, his wife died, leaving Gareth to care for their son Nigel by himself. When Nigel reached adulthood, he created Albion, inspired by his father’s military service.
One day, while Gareth and Nigel were out walking, they came across a gang who attempted to rob them. Gareth tried to fight them off, but was killed in front of Nigel, who managed to escape the encounter. Nigel blamed himself for his father’s death, cursing his powerlessness and inability to act. He developed an obsession with making London safer for others, even if by force.
