Bagley

Finding Bagley is a side mission in Watch Dogs: Legion. It is unlocked by completing the main story and serves to reveal Bagley’s backstory and origins.

Plot[]

After the events of Hard Reset, DedSec successfully attempts to bring Bagley back to life, but Bagley uncovers some disturbing news. After being brought back to life, Bagley begins to question whether he was once human, similar to how Skye Larsen turned her mother into a house robot. After Hard Reset, Bagley discovered a series of corrupted images inside his operating system, which he believes to be memories. He sends the player 8 images of London landmarks, however they have been distorted and are blurry. The player must figure out where the images were taken, and take a picture using the camera to jog Bagley’s memory.

After an image has been taken, the undistorted image is revealed and an audio file is unlocked. The audio files reveal that Bagley’s real name is Bradley, Bagley was a nickname given to him, although it was much to his disliking. It is also shown he was a keen rower, however he suffered from epilepsy and had multiple seizures. As well as this, it is inferred that Bagley is the brother of Skye Larson. After all eight photos have been taken, a ninth one must be taken. The final audio file shows Skye talking to Bradley about neural mapping – the process of uploading someone and turning them into AI.

Bagley discovers a room in St. Pancras Grande Hotel under the name Bradley Larsen, Bagley’s real name. In the room, Bradley can be seen sitting in a wheelchair, watching the news. Although alive, Bradley has not spoken in almost a year, yet Bagley attempts to communicate with him via having him broadcast to the TV.

Enough, both of you.

Father:
What a way to spoil a perfect evening.

Mother:
The concerto really was lovely, dear.

Bagley:
Can't believe we missed the cricket match for this.

Yeah, Bagley.

Yeah, listen, mate, I can't take you to the cricket. I'm sorry.

Bagley:
What? Why?

Mother:
Go ahead. Tell him.

Father:
I... well, I-

Mother:
Your father has decided he wants to leave. For someone he really loves.

That's enough! We agreed to have one least day out, and now you're making a scene.

Mother:
I didn't make this scene, Kevin. You did.

Natalie:
Your plot for Olympic domination has only just begun.

Bagley:

Bagley:
Why do I have a feeling we're not up here to reminisce?

Sister:
Right. I've been thinking a lot about your epilepsy.

That's nice. My doctors stopped thinking about it years ago, I had to give up so much because of it. Rowing, my mates, my... (sigh)

Sister:
I'm sorry, Bradley.

Bagley:
Wow. Look at you using my real name for once. I must be truly fucked.

Sister:
What if I told you I had something that could work?

Bagley:
Ha. Never knew you were funny.

Sister:
I'm not. It's a tech we're developing. It's early stages, but... have you ever heard of neural mapping?

Bagley:
No.

Sister:
Here. Let's go to my lab. I'll show you.

Bagley:
Lead the way, Skye.

Not even that stupid nickname can ruin my mood, so go on. Wear it out.

Thank you, Doctor. May I have a moment?

Doctor:
Of course.

Sister:
You listen to me. I don't care what it takes. No brother of mine is going to waste away in some hospital.
