VEHICLE PERFORMANCE ERROR ENCOUNTERED:
This vehicle's performance stats need to be fixed or improved.

Not to be confused with Landrock Van 1500.
A medium-sized work van.
―In-game description in Watch Dogs.

The Landrock Motors Landrock Van 2500 is a van featured in Watch Dogs and Watch Dogs 2.

Design[]

The Landrock Van 2500 takes a resemblance to the fourth generation Ford Econoline/E-Series, as shown on much of the overall design, including the sides and rear fascia. The front fascia is a mix between later E-Series models of the same generation, such as the front bumper from the 2003-2007 models, and the grille, as well the headlight clusters, from the 2008-Present models. The shape of the headlights are much similar to the 1992-2007 models, albeit being enlarged. The grille design appears to be reused from the Van Doorn Atlus 3.8L, a multi-stop truck from Ubisoft Reflections's Driver: San Francisco, the only differences between the two vehicles are the ones found on the Van 2500 extends forwards, and has portions with curvier lines. The tail lights are derived from the fourth generation RAM Pickup.

The Landrock Van 2500 is the successor to the Landrock Van 1500, having a narrower profile and a modern appearance. Depending on each version, the Van 2500 may appear with an extra material on the roof rack. In Watch Dogs 2, there are examples of older, vandalized versions and ones operated by different companies and businesses. While the 1500 is more of a civilian vehicle, the 2500 serves as a utility vehicle.

Performance[]

The Landrock Van 2500 is slow, but has a fair durability, making it a suitable vehicle to hide in, in Online Hacking. It performs similarly to its older counterpart, but having a lower top speed in exchange of a better acceleration. In Watch Dogs 2, both the Landrock Van 2500 and the Relegater share the same engine noise.

Variants[]

  • WKZ TV Landrock Van 2500: The WKZ TV utilizes a fleet of Van 2500s for news broadcasting. These are fitted with a TV antenna on the roof. In Watch Dogs 2, the rear beacons act like taillights.
  • CTOS Landrock Van 2500: The CTOS uses the Van 2500 as their fleet vehicle. It has a white color scheme with black markings, and will spawn around uncontrolled CtOS Control Centers, as well as Blume's Chicago headquarters. This variant is taller and faster than the standard variant. In Watch Dogs 2, these are marked with a telephone number, suggesting these are now able to provide technical services to any residence.
  • Ambulance: The emergency variant of the Van 2500, featuring red and white lights, and sirens.
  • Cube Truck: The cutaway variant of the Van 2500, appearing in Watch Dogs 2, it features a box in the back.

  • New Dawn Landrock Van 2500: Exclusive to Watch Dogs 2, the Church of the New Dawn uses the Van 2500 as their gang vehicle.
  • "Snoops": Exclusive to Watch Dogs 2, the DedSec utilizes a white-and-black Van 2500 as their surveillance vehicle, equipped with a similar equipment to the WKZ TV variant and has NetHack View that can be activated by pressing the horn.
