E-STROM is a location in Watch Dogs: Legion. The in-game capitalization is retained to differentiate it from the parent company.
Background[]
E-STROM is the main assembly plant for E-Strom's electric double-decker busses, using a unique Magnesium-A alloy to reduce the weight of batteries and their housing. Following the company's acquisition by Thomas Rempart,[1] the factory was infiltrated by Aiden Pearce in conjunction with Claire Waters to discover incriminating evidence. As it turned out, E-Strom was bought out to gain access to its data stores and locate Jackson Pearce.[2]
Layout[]
The factory is fairly compact, with a vehicle gate facing the street and a side entrance for employees, which requires activating a closed-circuit terminal just around the corner. The location is lightly patrolled by Albion contractors, with the confined space of the main hall providing a slight challenge to sneaking through. The tech point is located in one of the service channels, easily accessible by a spiderbot.

FROM: A. Lemoureux TO: G. Castorille SUBJECT: Employee Illegal Trespass Mr. Castorille, Following a complaint from a grounds keeper, it has come to the attention of the Human Resources department that one of your employees, Robert Hastings, has been using a utility closet as his home. That is to say, he has installed a bed, hotplate and small refrigerator and is living there on a permanent basis. Obviously, for many reasons, not least safety, this is unacceptable and cannot continue. That said, we cannot be insensitive to his situation. Housing in London is exorbitant and the last thing we want is for one of our employees to find themselves in jeopardy. Please come see me today so that we may plan how to approach this situation. Thank you, Adrien |

- â Aiden Pearce: "Who are you after this time?"
Claire Waters: "Rempart. He has a long history of buying up smaller companies for their tech and just pulled the same stunt right here in London. As of this morning E-Strom belongs to him."
Aiden Pearce: "Not surprising. What's the twist?"
Claire Waters: "Normally, he only goes after weapons manufacturers. It seems he has a thing for deadly tech, but E-Strom makes electric double-decker's. Which begs the question..."
Aiden Pearce: "Why is Rempart so interested in them?"
Claire Waters: "Bingo! Think you can sneak your way into E-Strom to get some photos? I want to see what they're really up to." - â Claire Waters: "E-Strom markets themselves as eco-conscious hippies. Does Rempart seem like the do-gooder type to you? Keep looking."
Aiden Pearce: "Seems like the only thing they make here are buses. Is there something special about them, aside from being electric?"
Claire Waters: "Apparently "E-Co Buses are developed with efficiency in mind, using Magnesium-A to create the next generation of blah, blah, blah". I'll do some more digging on my end."
Aiden Pearce: "Keep me posted. I'll see what else I can find."
Claire Waters: "Hey, you wouldn't happen to be related to a Jackson Pearce, would you? Apparently, it was his research that was used to develop that fancy material they use for the buses."
Aiden Pearce: "Fuck! That can't be a coincidence... Alright, Claire, say Rempart was looking for him. How would buying this company help do that?"
Claire Waters: "If Rempart is after this Jackson guy then buying E-Strom would give him access to their metadata. Companies keep records on even unit sold and deal made."
Aiden Pearce: "Like the deal the university made with them to use Jacks' research. I have to erase that data.
Claire Waters: "Okay, but wait..."
Aiden Pearce: "What the hell? The files aren't here."
Claire Waters: "That's what I was trying to tell you! They won't mine all that data there. Luckily, you have me and I know where Rempart keeps their servers. Sending you the address now."
