DudSec is a DLC side mission in Watch Dogs: Legion. It is the first mission in the Not In Our Name side chapter, and is only accessible buy purchasing the game's season pass.

Plot[]

At the DedSec Safehouse, an operative watches a GBB broadcast falsely stating that DedSec leaked sex tapes belonging to a local celebrity, Vanessa Ahmed. DedSec decides to investigate the erroneous claims about them by going to meet Ahmed at the Cherry Tree Pub in Camden.

At the pub, paparazzi can be seen surrounding the building with a depressed-looking Vanessa Ahmed standing at the bar, muttering about how DedSec has ruined her career. The operative speaks to her and upon declaring that they are a member of DedSec, Vanessa curses the operative and claims that DedSec’s ‘blackmail scheme’ is over. As DedSec does not blackmail people, the operative claims to be part of the real DedSec and says that they want to track down their imitators and stop them tarnishing DedSec’s name. In order to find who hacked and spied on her, the operative travels to Ahmed’s residence at Bondwick Square and speaks to a witness standing in the vicinity. They claim that they saw a drone hovering near Ahmed’s flat when they arrived, shortly before it crashed nearby, which Bagley finds to be on top of the nearby statue. After accessing the broken news drone, the operative receives a text file showing Vanessa’s network log, which reveals that whoever the hacker was took a long time to download the sex video, and Bagley requests the operative travels to Chinatown – the origin point of the drone.

At Chinatown, the hacker is being held hostage by Clan Kelley, so the operative must infiltrate the area and escort them to safety. After freeing the hostage, they claim that they were caught stealing crypto from Clan Kelley, and also claim to be a part of DedSec, to the operative’s surprise. They also invite the real DedSec operative to the fake DedSec’s hackerspace. They decide to investigate their hackerspace and travels to the Sanford Theatre to hack the building’s CTOS hub. On the way, Bagley says that after doing a search for the fake DedSec members, he discovered that they were responsible for multiple leaked scandals, including leaking explicit images, secret affairs, and adoption records – all while claiming to be DedSec. Regardless, the operative hacks the theatres CTOS hub to gain access to the hackerspace camera network, which shows three people in a room themed after the San Francisco branch of DedSec. The operative hacks a laptop and Bagley analyses the collected data.
