Daybreak is a secluded and illustrious Artificial Intelligence project orchestrated by Skye Larsen, with support from her company Broca Tech as well as her partner, Blume Corporation.
About[]
Due to her deep thanatophobia combined with her narcissistic messiah complex, Skye Larsen started Project Daybreak using her revolutionary brain mapping technology. The technology itself allows Skye Larsen to use living human beings as neural templates so as to create AI duplicates of their living consciousness. An example of this was when Skye Larsen managed to use her brain mapping technology to create Bagley, an AI duplicate of her mentally ill brother's consciousness.
In most cases, such as her dog Ada or her mother Sinead, the brain mapping process ends up killing the actual living being, leaving only an AI replica of their consciousness behind. Sinead's AI replica describes the digital existence as a very miserable and painful one and it was not helped by Skye Larsen altering the replicated AI's personality traits.
Functionality[]
Project Daybreak uses neural mapping technology as well as the quantum computer technologies in Blume to create a digital personality replica of a living being. The process ends up killing the real living being and only leaving a digital replica of their real consciousness behind. The digital replica is then converted into an Artificial Intelligence who all possess digital immortality inside the Cloud.

In real life, Project Daybreak is a nod to the hypothetical concept of Digital Immortality. The concept is about storing a digital personality replica of a real living human being inside a virtual environment within supercomputers.
