The Chicago River is a system of canals that run through downtown Chicago. Many lift bridges cross the river. Aiden Pearce has the ability to lift and lower those bridges using his smartphone. This could be used to the player's advantage by stopping police cars chasing him or cutting off a target's potential escape across the bridge.
