Caustic Progress is a side mission in Watch Dogs 2, added in the Human Conditions DLC. Before the mission can be played, the player has to complete the story mission Hacker War first. It introduces a new tech corporation, RenSense, who develops nanotechnology. When Marcus learns they are conducting experiments on the homeless, implanting robo-technology into them, he and his DedSec crew form an unusual alliance with Lenni to stop the epidemic of "robo-hobos".

- The doctor of RenSense, John Merry, is considered a Umeni gunman, as he carries a handgun, and can call reinforcements.
