- â Mate, don't call me that, that's not my name!â
- ―Bradley often at times when he is called Bagley
Bradley Larsen is a character in Watch Dogs: Legion. He is the brother of Skye Larsen, and the neural template for Bagley.
Biography[]
Before Watch Dogs: Legion[]
Bradley Larsen is the son of Kevin and Sinead Larsen. During his childhood, he was into sports, excitedly asking his father to accompany him to a cricket match and being dismayed when he was forced to attend a concerto instead. At one point, Kevin denied his son's request to accompany him to a cricket match on his birthday, as Sinead had discovered he was having an affair.
Bradley's love for sports continued into adulthood, as he aspired to be an Olympic rower and was accepted as the member of his university's rowing team. He celebrated the occasion with his best friends Arthur and Natalie on World of Tomorrow, bragging that he would become a gold medallist. However, he suffered from a seizure during practice one day and was later diagnosed with epilepsy. Skye later approached him and introduced him to neural-mapping as a way to cure his condition, and he accepted the offer.
Several months after he agreed to be neural-mapped, Bradley went to meet up with Arthur at Duck Island Cottage and went rowing with him, informing him that he hadnât had a seizure in almost a year and believed himself to be cured. He then proposed to Arthur, telling him that he was âready for the rest of [his] lifeâ and wanted the other to be part of it. Some time later, Bradley suffered from a violent outburst while he visited the Wellington Arch with Natalie, pleading for someone to âget out of [his] headâ before losing consciousness. After another outburst at the British Library, he was admitted to a hospital and diagnosed with early onset dementia.
When Skye learned of the diagnosis, she refused to hospitalize her brother; instead, she rented a room at St. Pancras Grande Hotel for him to be treated there. Bradley's dementia worsened, eventually reaching stage seven.
Events of Watch Dogs: Legion[]
A room likely belonging to Bradley can be explored during Coming Home. It is mostly empty and the furniture in the room is covered with sheets, with a few boxes laying around. Upon entering, Bagley comments that the records of the roomâs occupant are corrupted. A photo of Skye and Bradley can be found in the room.
During Finding Bagley, after the player recovers all of Bagleyâs memory fragments, he realizes that he was Bradley Larsen. After discovering this, the player visits Bradley at St. Pancras Hotel, only to find him wheelchair-bound and unable to speak. Undeterred, Bagley asks the player to cast him to the roomâs television. He reminds Bradley of his love for rowing, strawberries and Arthur, and reassures him that nothing Skye did changes who he is. Before the player leaves, Bagley tells Bradley that he is glad to have finally met him. Bagley's words appear to reach Bradley, as he lifts his head and smiles in response to meeting him.
Personality[]
Before he was neural mapped, Bradley was intelligent, extremely cheerful and enthusiastic, and occasionally boastful about his achievements. He loved sports, particularly rowing and cricket. However, as his mental condition began to deteriorate, he became prone to violent outbursts and fits of erratic behavior, which is noted by Natalie in one of the audio recordings to be highly unusual.
When he was eventually found at St. Pancras Grande Hotel, Bradley Larsen appeared to be depressed and nigh-catatonic. It was only after Bagley spoke with him did he once again show some sense of awareness. He subtly expressed a sense of joy at meeting Bagley and the kind words the AI gave him.
Appearance[]
Bradley has brown hair (which has been shaved off by the events of the game) and blue eyes. He is taller than his sister Skye, seen in the photograph of them together.
